Product Manager – Financial Services

Our client is an established financial services company with more than 28 years’ experience. As a leading provider of over 50s life insurance, child trust funds and tax exempt savings plans, they offer competitive products directly to consumers. An opportunity has now arisen for a Product Manager to join their team.
This is the ideal position for a highly organised individual with business analysis or product development experience, looking to further their career with a company offering an excellent benefits package.
As Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing new products and supporting the on-going management and development of the group product portfolio and new product development.
You will be tasked with:
- Identifying, developing and delivering new products and enhancements to existing products
- Managing and co-ordinating customer research projects
- Maintaining and updating product specifications
- Managing the product review process
- Monitoring the market position, environment and competitor activity
To be considered for the role of Product Manager, you must have:
- Experience in business analysis and/or product development
- At a minimum, an A-Level (or equivalent) in mathematics
Additionally, you must possess good written, mathematical and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
Although not essential, commercial experience in a similar industry, such as financial services, would be a distinct advantage to your application. Marketing experience would also be beneficial.
